The Knock Threshing Festival will take place over two days on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September in Knock County Laois.

Parade of steam engines, vintage tractors and cars from Headens at 12 to the threshing field, where a great day out is planned for young and old.

There’s something for everyone – various displays, demonstrations, crafts and cooking from times past, vintage cars and farm machinery, steam threshing displays, wood cutting, farrier, butter making, crafts, photographs and memorabilia.

Entertainment for all ages throughout the day, live music, bouncy castle, wheel-of-fortune, challenge games (horse show throwing, sheaf throwing, pillow fighting, ‘Guess the Weight’ and many more.

Plenty of food and refreshments available, including pig on a spit & colcannon.

Admission is €5 for adults on Sunday. Free admission for children.
